So I had a doctor's appointment today - with a physiatrist my supervisor knows and got me in to see on short notice. There's something up with my hip, so he checked it out. Did a bunch of tests, moving my leg around, pressing on my hip. Then he sent me for an x-ray. I went right after - apparently you don't need an appointment, and they took me right away.
So now I just have to wait and see what the results say. On the paperwork for the x-ray, the doctor wrote "query chondrocalsinosis, femoral head flattening." The first part is calcification of the cartilage, so basically arthritis ... and I'm not too sure what the latter part means ... well, I know what it means literally, but I don't know what that implies in terms of diagnosis.
Wait and see.
In the meantime, I'm starting my Christmas baking. I made peanut butter cookies last night. Sure, not the most Christmas-y recipe I could have chosen, but I had the ingredients, they're quick and easy, and I've been craving them for a week or so. And they're delicious!
3 bags (about 20 cookies) into the freezer, the rest into our stomachs. :) Well, soon anyway. I'm trying to restrict myself to no more than 3 or 4 in one sitting. hehehehe
I also made a huge sale yesterday - to my neighbor and superintendent. That was really exciting! :D
