I've always had cold feet to recommend anything, but it reading posts in forums, I've noticed that some crafters have a lot of trouble getting their little businesses to make headwave online and being noticed. With the exception of a few who are very successful, many go through unnecessary hard times and lots of discouragement because of a lack of sharp marketing skills.
Well, I've been there. But I'm learning. I've gotten into some groups where I am learning to sharpen my skills and it is getting me more exposure. I takes time and effort (there is not substitute for work) but it is getting better.
I want to briefly point you in the direction of Twitter.
Most of us use twitter for freindship and for sharing. But I also use it to announce my new items. And to point interested parties to my new freebies.
For a while, I did Twitter cold. Then I got into TweetDeck because a geek who is also a marketer, told me about it. But now, several have suggested TwitGlide, which seems to be more advanced than tweetDeck. So, I want to share it here for any of you who might be interested and would like to try this new free app for all those who are active in twitdom.
They have a membership and will allow you to advertise your store to their members without getting punished by Twitter or being consdered a spammer, which is a great bonus. If you would like to try a free software which will let you organize your twits, let you see who sent you what message and what you answered as well as what conversations you are involved in, while at the smae time, giving you credit points for free adverts just for using it, click on the link below and try it. You have nothing to lose, since it is free. Thought I'd share it, just in case you guys would think it useful in your marketing efforts. I run into things like this all the time, but don't share all because I too, wouldn't like to be considered a spammer. This, I thought you might enjoy and profit from.
Here's the link you need:
You'll never tweet the same way again.Click on this link and download it for FREE!
